Terms and Conditions Beaver Artwork Auction June 2021

1. In order to bid in the auction for the artwork, the bidder must be aged 18 or over, and be resident in the UK.
2. Bids must be submitted by email to beavers@devonwildlifetrust.org
3. In order for a bid to be valid the bidder must supply their full name and postal address.
4. Bids must be in pounds sterling; and be received by email before the scheduled end of the auction at 5pm on Monday 5 July.
5. Devon Wildlife Trust will notify the highest bidder for the artwork after the closing time.
6. Late bids or those without contact details will not be accepted.
7. Devon Wildlife Trust reserves the right to refuse or remove any bid in its absolute discretion.
8. The successful bid for the artwork will be the highest bid received by the scheduled end of the auction at 5pm on Monday 5 July. In the event that more than one bid is equal as the highest amount bid, the artwork will be awarded to the bid received first.
9. You acknowledge that once the auction has closed at 5pm on Monday 5 July you will be expected to pay for the artwork if your bid is the highest.
10. The artwork will be mailed to the address supplied by the highest bidder after the amount bid has been passed to Devon Wildlife Trust by credit/debit card, cheque or bank transfer.
11. In the event of DWT being unable to contact a winning bidder within seven days of the closing of the auction on Monday 5 July, or of the amount of the highest bid not being received within 21 days of the winning bidder being notified, DWT reserves the right to award the artwork to the next highest bidder.
12. DWT makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the artwork and in no event will DWT be liable for any loss or damage including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damages whatsoever arising from entrance to the auction or use of the artwork.

Your data

In taking part in this online auction by submitting a bid via email to beavers@devonwildlifetrust.org, bidders consent to their contact details being used as reasonably necessary for the purpose of the auction. DWT will use contact details only as needed in connection with the auction, keeping personal data secure and not using the contact details for any other purpose, unless the bidder has opted in to receive communications from Devon Wildlife Trust.

This auction of David Barlow's beaver artwork is being run by Devon Wildlife Trust to raise funds for the charity's beaver conservation work. All funds from the winning bid will be assigned to DWT's beaver conservation activities.
