Join us for day 16 of 30 Days Wild! Take part in lots of different wildlife activities, including bug hunting & den building, wild craft and much more.

30 Days Wild is back! We want you to do something wild everyday throughout June: that’s 30 simple, fun and exciting Random Acts of Wildness. You'll receive a free pack to help you to stay wild throughout June.

Activities taking place on the day will include (weather dependent):

Reptile walk - Reptile mats encourage slow worms, snakes and other reptiles to bask in the warmth, join a reptile walk to survey the mats and learn about these secretive animals.

Ranger walk - Join Exeter City Council Ranger Chris Moulton, for a walk around the park, learn about the wildlife that lives here and how ECC manage the park.

Bug hunting- Borrow a sweep net and a magnifying pot and go on a search for mini-beasts! Bring them back to the hub to find out what they are.

Storytelling - Listen to wild stories or join us on a wild story walk.

Exeter Wild City - Learn about our Exeter Wild City project and our work with swifts. Take part in a piece of community art focused on swifts.

Forest school skills - Join our Education Officer for fire lighting and den building. £3 per child.

Crafts - Take part in craft activities and have a go at wild leaf printing or clay sculpture making.

30 Days Wild trail - Can you tick off our 10 wild suggestions? Complete the trail to win a prize.

The event will be held at Mincinglake Valley Park (Exeter), near the Sylvania Community Hall by the Stoke Hill entrance. To find out more about the event, visit our Facebook page or website.
